‘No 7-Eleven’ was at the New Museum’s Ideas City streetfest this past weekend.
Thank you to everyone who signed the petition to call on the City Planing Commission and the City Council to amend the city’s zoning regulations to require that all corporate formula stores obtain approval from the local community board before opening.
There are currently 32 7-Elevens in Manhattan with an additional 100 locations planned to open by 2017. 7-Eleven has 7,550 stores in the United States and more outlets than any retailer in the world with 48,000 locations worldwide.
